Being in the industry for 17 years I’ve had the opportunity to travel for education and trainings to places all over! My personal favorite was traveling to L.A., where I got to met the legendary John Paul DeJoria. I have done a lot over the years in my career but a favorite of mine was while I was an Educator at Paul Mitchell The School Springfield. I’m forever grateful for the culture and values Paul Mitchell instilled in me. Over the years there, I specialized in many classes like State Board preparations, earned many certifications, attended countless trainings, and eventually served as a Future Professional Advisor, overseeing the academics and graduation requirements of over 100+ students. That role and the people who believed in me helped shape the confidence I carry with me today. There is so much value in having someone who believes in you!

Fun fact: I’m a licensed cosmetologist with a barber crossover license!

In 2019, I made West Plains, MO, my home and have fallen in love with the community ever since. While I’m passionate about doing hair, Education has my heart. I’m thrilled to bring the knowledge and experience I’ve obtained over the years into Heirloom Studios, a hybrid salon building on a focus for both guest care and ongoing education for our team and other professionals in our community. Taking on this responsibility doesn’t come to me half-heartedly. I’m deeply committed to bringing in educators who truly know their trade and specialize in what they do best. Good education is important to me, and my goal is for every attendee to leave our trainings feeling confident, inspired, and excited to return for more.

My vision is to create a space that not only serves our guests but also supports and elevates other talented stylists in our area. We have so many!  There’s so much in the works, and I’m looking forward to sharing everything we have planned for Heirloom Studios. Stay tuned! 🎤🙌💕
